Collaboration with Centenary Institute on the NIH-supported program to investigate new adjuvants for TB vaccines.

April 22, 2024

The biology of STING protein activation has long suggested a potential role of this class of drug in improving the effectiveness of a wide range of vaccines.

Aculeus is excited to announce a collaboration with the Centenary Institute to investigate the potential of its STING agonists as adjuvants for tuberculosis (TB) vaccines.

This research forms part of a broader national and international collaborative effort supported by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), aiming to reduce the impact of TB; disease that claims approximately 1.25 million lives each year.
